For all the people who have children away for school in England, may I recommend The Duenna Company.
It may not always be possible to hop on a plane and go visit when it’s exeat. They are a company that will be a mother to your precious child and fill in the gap when you are not there.
I was so pleased with their services I featured The Duenna Company in my Book (Going away for School – The parent and Student user Guide to leaving home by Yeye Bush).
Remember it takes a village to raise a child.

The Duenna Company are an A class professionals with great Chaperones who I felt happy to leave my children in their care.
Our personal Chaperone Adedoyin was great with my children and put their safety and wellbeing first at all times. I are based in Spain and our children are in Boarding schools in the UK and I feel at ease knowing that our children are in good hands with individuals that have a great response rate in emergencies and last minute requests.
I have used The Duenna Company for chaperoned airport drops, Birthday outings for my children and their friends, parent’s evenings reporting and getting my Daughters hair braided every 4 weeks.
I have used their services for the past 2 years and will continue to do so. My Daughters are aged 9 and 11 and love to be in Adedoyins presence as she is such a vivacious character.

I had the pleasure of working Dee in a higher education institution, and I can testify that she was highly regarded by her peers as someone who was an innovative contributor within the student engagement arena. Working with our diverse student body often presents its challenges, and Dee was able to evidence her support for our students by being a passionate advocate of the highest standard, which improved the experiences and outcomes for students from non-traditional groups in higher education, and at an institutional level, where she contributed to understanding student transition, retention and success, identifying and recommending solutions to the challenges this distinctive group of students face regularly.
Venus Speedwell
Faculty Employability Consultant
As a manager of a large team, Dee supported the growth of members of her team, ensuring, first and foremost, that they were committed to enhancing the student experience. She regularly employed (often) innovative ways to develop the discipline level of her team, recognising their strengths, limitations and areas for development. Dee was incredibly popular with her colleagues and students alike, possessing a real passion and enthusiasm for developing the capacity of others. Always a consummate professional, Dee is also reflective, inspiring and a focused, calm and committed leader who would make a significant contribution to any environment she is involved with.
Paulette Annon
Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader
Exuberant, charismatic and inspiring’ are a few of many ways i would describe Dee. Her positive energy and cheerfulness are characteristics of hers which have earned her so much popularity, love and respect from people she’s associated with. Her helpful and kind nature brought so many positive outcomes for students. Dee would go above and beyond in helping students resolve their problems, with their best interest at heart and in doing so would often put her own neck on the line, displaying just behaviour and treatment towards everyone. Dee was known to be the shining light at GSM, the ONLY one to organise staff gatherings, leaving do’s, birthday parties, team outings and so much more! Her pleasure came from seeing others pleased whom she genuinely cares for and in return earned the level of respect not many can say they have the privilege of receiving. A real pleasure to work with, great role model for others and a truly wonderful person.

I knew Dee when she was Student Advisory Manager at GSM London. It was a challenging role in a time of major change for the institution but she handled it with panache and professionalism. In that time she proved herself to be an enthusiastic and hardworking manager who motivated her team with her drive, enthusiasm and dedication. Her energy and good humour meant she formed close working relationships with people across the organisation. She would be an asset for any company she chooses to work with.
Dee was an absolute pleasure to work with. She led teams through a very challenging period of internal restructure, boosting morale as much as possible. She is a highly engaging and energetic person who always went the extra mile to support her students. She has a very collaborative approach and was responsible for all the staff social activities that took place. Dee is very much missed and is a great asset

We worked well together as a team members at the time we worked for the same employer. She is passionate about getting the job right and having the right outcomes. Her interaction with other colleagues is phenomenal and motivating. Her interaction with students was also particularly impressive as well as remarkable .They found her approachable, dependable and reliable.
Her general persona is fantastic; she is ready to help an assist when you are faced with challenges of any sort within the remit of your education. Dee delivers with integrity and a professional of high pedigree par excellence. Based on the above, I would strongly recommend her services.
